Well Oiled

I recently photographed the new UK headquarters of the WD-40 company, who have moved into an office in the heart of Milton Keynes. The category B fit out was designed by interior design consultants Burtt-Jones & Brewer with whom I have worked many times over the past decade.

The four-sided building used to contain a courtyard that was open to the elements. This space was glazed over, and all three of the office floors were opened out to the new atrium, with a spiral staircase installed to create a continuous space that connects the entire building, from top to bottom.

The project was nominated for, and won, the British Council for Offices Fit Out of Workplace award for the Midlands and Central England region, and as you can see from the images, is a striking and original space well-suited to a brand as iconic as WD-40.

If you would like to hire me to shoot your recent project, whether commercial, residential, hospitality, or any other sector, or want to know more about how I can help you, please get in touch!
